My gardening adventures began ten years ago starting with a small raised planter filled with mostly perennials...
Eventually we would consentrate on hiding some unwanted views such as the grey garage in the background.
There were horseshoe pits and a couple of small flower beds, a vegetable garden and luckily some mature trees.
Nothing to divide our property from the neighbours (another view to be obliterated).
Many changes to come...

Gardening is medicine that does not need a prescription ... and with no limit on dosage.
"But each spring...a gardening instinct, sure as the sap rising in the trees, stirs within us. We look about and decide to tame another little bit of ground." --Lewis Gantt
Welcome to the bright side. I’m a gardener with a camera who likes to make cards and dreams of winning the lottery so I can quit my day job and do more of the above. I live on the shores of Lake Huron in Bruce County Ontario and I like to look on the bright side of life.
